Leo Toronto work recognized with five CASSIES.

In celebrating Canada's top advertising or communications business success cases over the past year, the CASSIES are in a class of their own. For 2017, five of LB Toronto's campaigns were awarded Bronze CASSIES across multiple categories. These were: Amazon Echo #BaldwinBowl for Canadian Success on the Global Stage; Kellogg’s Special K #OwnIt for Brand Reawakening; Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats for Toys for Long-Term Success; Raising the Roof Coming Soon for Cause; and TD Bank Official Partner of Big Dreams for Services.

Leo Toronto’s design chops showcased in Communication Arts Typography Annual.

Coming off a highly awarded 2016, LB Toronto’s Design group started off 2017 with a 5 times In-Annual splash in Communication Arts Typography. The work honoured included the Museum of Contemporary Art (Brochures and Ephemera), Yellow Pages Lemonade Stand (Identity), FUZE Reps (Typeface Design) and Smith Restaurant Brunch Menu (Miscellaneous). This was the first time our work has been featured in CA’s respected Typography Annual.

LB Toronto repeats as most awarded Canadian agency at D&AD.

The UK’s annual D&AD show is known for having the toughest judging standards around. Which makes our 3 Pencils for Printed by Somerset – including a coveted Yellow Pencil – all the more worthy. The work, for printer client Somerset Graphics, broke through by being a printed website that lived in both the Digital and Physical worlds. The Yellow Pencil was awarded in the Direct Mail category. The work also won a Graphite Pencil for Digital Design and a Wood Pencil for Graphic Design.

Leo Toronto wins Interactive AACE Award.

Each year in the spring, Applied Arts announces the winners of 5 Applied Arts Creative Excellence (AACE) Awards. These coveted cubes recognize the previous year’s highest scoring entries celebrated in each of their annuals. AACEs are awarded for Advertising, Design, Illustration, Interactive and Photography. For 2015, Leo’s P&G Always #LikeAGirl campaign was the hands down winner of the Interactive AACE. The work, created by an international Burnettt team led by Leo Toronto, became the #1 viral video in the world and sparked a global conversation that gave “like a girl” a powerful and inspiring new meaning.

#LikeAGirl  wins Facebook  Blue and Gold.

#LikeAGirl wins Facebook Blue and Gold.

The Facebook Awards celebrate the best creative work on the platform, with the Blue Award being their highest honour. This year P&G Always’ #LikeAGirl campaign won Blue in the Craft category – one of only two Blues awarded. The #LikeAGirl campaign – created by a global Burnettt team led by Leo Toronto – also won Gold in the Facebook for Good category. Two more exceptional honours for this much-awarded LB work.
